Raleigh Record Sprint bike

Raleigh Record Sprint 12

1985

This Raleigh Record Sprint was built from Reynolds 501 aero tubing in Raleigh’s Nottingham factory in 1985. This is a classic British racing cycle with a gold Weinmann brake set and Challenger Space Shuttle decals.

The Raleigh Bicycle Company, originally based in Nottingham, started manufacturing bicycles in 1887. Raleigh was always at the cutting edge of innovation. It is one of the oldest bicycle companies in the world. A 1980’s Raleigh catalogue says of the Raleigh Record Sprint: “It must be the Record Sprint when you want high performance in a modern racing bike!”

In gloss black with full gold anodised components this full bling retro bicycle will stand out from the crowd.
