This Raleigh Classic Lady was handbuilt in 1984 using Reynolds 531c tubing. The Raleigh catalogue described the Classic as a “top of the range full 531 touring bike for the serious cyclist who wants the ultimate in quality and function”.

The Raleigh Bicycle Company, originally based in Nottingham, started manufacturing bicycles in 1887. Raleigh was always at the cutting edge of innovation. It is one of the oldest bicycle companies in the world.
