Mercian vintage bike

The name Mercian Cycles relates to the ancient Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Mercia which was centred on the valley of the River Trent in the East Midlands region of England. Mercian Cycles began as a cycle shop in Derby in 1946, and shortly after started building quality frames in a small workshop nearby. Their craftsmen still hand-build and finish frames today continuing to use the traditional methods that are recognised worldwide for the quality of workmanship, accuracy of construction and beautiful long lasting finish.

This handbuilt frame has Nervex Vincitore lugs and spearpoint seat stays and has been renovated and resprayed in stunning GT40 colours. The bicycle comes complete with a Brooks B17 leather saddle and tool bag.
