Bill Nickson bike

Bill Nickson

1983

This Bill Nickson racer was handbuilt in 1983 by Mike Kowel of Autostrada for Bill Nickson Cycles of Leyland, Lancashire. It is made from Tange double butted steel tubing.

The shop was originally started in 1981 by Bill Nickson Snr, an ex-international professional cyclist, with many notable victories in his career, including the overall in the Milk Race (Britain’s most prestigious stage race) and the British National Road Race championships. He also rode, and completed, the Tour de France.

In 2006, the shop was taken over by Bill Jnr, who has also represented Great Britain at Elite level bike racing and has experience over many disciplines of bike riding/racing.

Lovely original paintwork and decals topped off with an aged San Marco Rolls saddle, new red bar tape and bottle cage.

This bike is for sale for £250 including delivery.
