Great rides start with a great bike. Our bicycles reflect the passion and craftsmanship of the traditional frame builders of the 1970s and 80s. These machines represent cutting edge technology of the day. We transport bikes to and from your location, free of charge, within a 10 mile radius of Bakewell, Derbyshire. We also offer fun retro bicycle tours, which are the best way to explore the splendid and spectacular scenery of the Peak District National Park.

All of our bicycles have been searched out and carefully chosen. Following a complete overhaul and service they are then given a test ride before being available to hire. We only offer the best, most reliable retro bikes in our stock. Be sure to come and see us at any one of the events we attend up and down the country.
It is all about ride quality and comfort, a steel frame is like a very strong steel spring. It absorbs a certain amount of road shock and when the rider makes a sudden effort it has just the right amount of give, but at the same time quickly transfers the rider’s energy directly to the rear wheel.
All our bikes have been put through the paces, they really are safe as houses. We wouldn’t let anyone ride anything we’re not happy with ourselves. Fully serviced and safety checked you can rest assured that any retro bike hired through Glory Days will do you proud on your ride through the Peak District.
